Alfs - Stick to degrading woman, and your utterly pointless opposition thread. I've told you before to stop chatting football. Cunt.

Liverpool could be out of the CL in 2 days.

Re: Next 7 Games are tough so let's not get ahead of ourselves
Percy - That means 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. A tough ask, that. Us v Chelsea will be massive.

Liverpool have a better run in, IMO, but as you say, will be distracted by the CL.

Re: Next 7 Games are tough so let's not get ahead of ourselves
Never mind 4th. Let's believe we can get 3rd!

Of the main contenders (Us, Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool) we have the "easiest" run-in. Averaging the positions of the teams these four sides face we and Liverpool face Palace (13th), Chelsea cop Arsenal (9th) and Leicester have a Villa (11th) average. Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool also have cup games to play.

I reckon 16 points from 21 will do it.

Fuck knows how I posted that, when I was trying to correct it -

...concede the next two goals

NEXT 7 Games are mostly not so tough, so let's not get ahead of ourselves
It's the easier games (on paper) that have so often done for us in the past.

Hopefully, we'll go three goals up on Newcastle, and score, not conceed

Re: Next 7 Games are tough so let's not get ahead of ourselves
Dunno about easy run in, lot of our games are against teams that are fighting for their survival in the league.

Only Newcastle. Of the rest "fighting for survival", they will be safe or virtually safe, by the time we play them, or relegated.

Of course, no game is easy.

WEMUST NOT CONSIDER THE CONCEPT OF A RUN IN.

WE MUST AIM TO WIN OUR NEXT GAME

Norway. Dunno about easy run in, lot of our games are against teams that are fighting for their survival in the league. It’d be much better to be playing 10th or 12th placed sides who are just thinking of the seasons end.

Those 7 results that angry got right.

Probably about 275-1.

Re: Next 7 Games are tough so let's not get ahead of ourselves
In fact, along with Liverpool, we have the easiest run in.
Chelsea, Leicester, Everton and Spurs, all have a much rougher ride.

Spurs - below us, beatable
Man City - tough game
Leeds - below us, beatable
Man Utd - tough game
Arsenal - below us, beatable
Wolves - below us, beatable
Leicester - tough game

4 games we should be trying to win.
3 games that we might well lose but I don't think we'll lose all 3.

Re: Next 7 Games are tough so let's not get ahead of ourselves
Remember we are playing next 2 games after the opposition have mid week euro games, not sure but could be same possibility with manure, Arse and Leicester... I'm going for 13 points

Re: Next 7 Games are tough so let's not get ahead of ourselves
On form the team we are most likely not to beat is Man City. We can expect to get on average at least point fro the other games so I’m predicting eight points or more.
